# Creating your first website

## The basics

If you can make a sandwich, you can make a website with [Pazly](https://pazly.dev/). There's some things you need to keep in mind.

a) a Pazly website is made out of **blocks**

b) every block is made out of **elements**

Building a website happens by repeating these steps:

**1. Drag and drop blocks from the left list**

**2. Preview in the middle canvas and select a component**

**3. Edit the selected component properties on the right panel**

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.pazly.dev/about-pazly/creating-your-first-website.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
